The Aurora: A Family Magazine, Vol. I, no. 3 (March 1887)
Bacon & Company, 1887. Pp. 233-336, plus ads. A short-lived San Francisco magazine, with short stories, poems, and essays on topics of the day (the education of women, the cable car conductors and and street car drivers strike). The article on the strike mentions the use of dynamite by the striking workers. The magazine, called Aurora Borealis for the first two issues, seems to have lasted eight issues in all. ISBN: 281AIB1024406.
Corner of cover and some pages bent, but generally very good. An uncommon publication.
