    Five typed letters signed to Robert (Bob) DeMott

    London: 1971-3. Michael Horovitz is a British poet, editor, artist and translator. He founded the literary periodical New Departures in 1959 and continued to edit it for 50 years. Penguin published 'Children of Albion' in 1970, introducing him to US readers. Additionally he is a musician on whose 80th birthday a limited edition recording of a 2013 poem accompanied by musicians was released. Robert DeMott is an American author, scholar and editor best known for his influential scholarship on John Steinbeck. He is currently Edwin and Ruth Kennedy Professor Emeritus of English at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. ISBN: 281AIB1049471.

    Five typed letters, each addressed to Bob DeMott, signed "M.H., Mike H., or M.", dated 1. 28th March, 1971 on New Departures letterhead; 2. air mail letter, dated 10th September, 1972; 3. air mail letter, dated 26th September, 72; 4. air mail letter stamped 25 November, 1973; 5. dated 11 Jan '73 on Michael Horovitz personal stationary, "Mullions", Piedmont. Each of the letters have holograph additions. Each letter contains approximately 400 words, mostly addressing literary efforts, readings completed and planned, mutual friends and their work, and personal news. Nice content.
