1947. Tinted lithograph, oblong format, 18 x 12 inches. Leo Haas (1901-1983) was a Czech-born Jewish artist who was imprisoned in a number of Nazi concentration camps from 1939 to 1945 when he was liberated from Ebensee by the Amercans. He is one of the most famous of the Holocaust artist/survivors who portayed daily life of prisoners in the camps. Signed with date in the plate. ISBN: 281AIB1050838.
