    Finan, M. A.
Photographs of Presidents Nixon, Johnson, and Reagan at the Eureka Airport for the Dedication of the Lady Bird Johnson Grove

Sudden Service Photo Lab, [1969]. Lot of ten 5-by-7-inch black-and-white photographs, apparently taken by an Arcata, CA, photographer, with his stamp on the back of several of the prints. The images show scenes at the Eureka airport as the dignitaries assembled for the dedication of the Lady Bird Johnson grove in Redwood National Park descended from Air Force One and addressed a cheering crowd. Among the visitors were President Richard M. Nixon and First Lady Pat Nixon, former president Lyndon Baines Johnson and Lady Bird Johnson, and Ronald Reagan, then governor of California. Two of the images include all three presidents, but in one Reagan is facing away from the camera. The photographs were taken on August 27, 1969, and were likely printed soon after. ISBN: 281AIB1031836.

Prints slightly curled but generally very good.
