Three Photographs of Gold Mining on the Rogue River, Grants Pass, Oregon
1910. Three photographs (one duplicate) laid down on canvas (as issued?). Roughly 9-1/4 by 7-1/4 inches. The two views are taken from opposite sides of a small inlet. The mining operation consists of a water-powered conveyor leading to two spinning drums. Water is pumped out of the drum enclosures through a tall pipe. Location and date written in pencil on the verso (back) of one of images. ISBN: 281AIB1023322.
