The Lion and The Mouse: A Story American Life Novelized From the Play ... Illustrated by ... Scenes from the Play
New York: Grosset & Dunlap, [1907]. 399 pages. A tie-in to the Broadway stage production which ran for most of 1906 and 1907. This novelization is illustrated with drawings and stills from the play. The movie photoplay edition is much more common. ISBN: B002CTE0SK.
A very good copy (previous owner's name, some foxing) in a very good jacket, missing the top of the spine, just affecting "The" in the title. Uncommon in an early jacket.

Broadway: A Novel [Photoplay]
First Edition
New York: George H. Doran, (1927). 288 pages. A novel of bootlegging, murder, and show business, adapted from the authors' play of the same name. The film was Universal's first talking picture with Technicolor sequences.
This is a bibliographically complex book. The book itself is the first printing by Doran, with one still opposite page 234. The jacket is the Grosset and Dunlap jacket for the photoplay. It appears that G&D must have used some of the original publisher's books to supplement their own printing. Quite uncommon in this mixed issue. ISBN: 281AIB1045130.
First edition (first printing). Very good in a good to very good dust jacket missing a good-sized chip at the base of the spine.

If Winter Comes [Photoplay edition]
New York: Grosset & Dunlap, [1923]. 415 pages. Illustrated with scenes from the William Fox production. It appears that this silent film may be lost. ISBN: B0048A8TR4.
A very good copy in a very good dust jacket with a few short tears and minor chipping to the spine ends. A nice copy. This copy has the second issue dust jacket with "Wm Fox" stamped over the incorrect Paramount credit on the front dust jacket flap.
